Lately, PBS has been showing the Anne of Green Gables series. Anyone who knows me knows that as a young girl (starting in 5th grade to be exact) I fell in LOVE with this book series. I could so relate to Anne and her disdain for her red hair due in part to her reading of various novels and poetry that NEVER had a red haired beauty. They were always the blond or raven-haired beauties. There were also so many more parts that I could relate and admired in Anne. When the tv series came out when I was in middle school. I, again, fell in love with this character. Megan Fellows truly embodied what I pictured Anne to be like!
So as for my bucket list . . . . I want to go to Prince Edward Island, the location of where all these wonderful stories take place. I actually went to the PEI travel website and so wanted to book a travel package right away! (Although, I don't think my husband was as thrilled with the idea. He just doesn't get it. He's one of those raven-haired people.)

To see the "Lake of Shining Waters", Green Gables, etc., it makes the little freckle-faced, red-headed school girl in me just giddy to think about! Someday, PEI. Someday.
