To My Husband's Father (That's him in the white shirt in the front.):
Thank you for showing me kindness and raising one of the most incredible men I know. Raising 3 children on your own for several years must have been one of the most difficult things in the world, but you persevered and raised a wonderful son. You always make sure that we are healthy and happy. From you I have learned kindness and that it is okay to be in the same room, have silence, and still enjoy one another's company. You are a wonderful man and I am glad Jim brought you into my life as well.
To My Own Father:
Thank you for raising me well. Your sense of family has always been amazing. You have been there through my struggles and my triumphs. From you I have learned the value of hard work and working until you get a project done so you can play hard too, and that people deserve at least a second chance.
To My Husband:

Thank you for teaching me that good men do exist and that it is okay to have brains and beauty. I know that you love your daughter so much and wish you could be more a part of her life but you try to make the most of what you can have. From you I have learned that it is okay to stand up for myself and let go of the past, to love again, and to be happy, to hang on to what is important and let go to what is not, and most importantly how to be loved. I love you with all my heart, which is probably good since I am now stuck with you for forever.

And to All of the Father's That Came Before: Thank you for helping me to be the person that I am today by raising sons and daughters who came to this country and allowed me to have the freedoms that I have; for teaching children to persevere and to hang on. From you I have learned that part of who I am today, comes from who you were. Thank you!
