Today is Jim and I's 2nd Anniversary, and we were able to give each other the best gift ever! We paid off a major bill today and figured that we can have another major bill paid off by May! There is nothing sweeter than seeing a $0 balance. I am so grateful and thankful, since there have been days that I wondered if I ever would see such a number.
BTW . . . For dinner we had our own little luau. I figured since we couldn't go to Hawaii, I would try to bring Hawaii to us. It was hillarious to be eating kalua pork and rice while watching the snow and wind. (NOT) Oh well. It turned out fabulous and was so easy it was amazing. I was even able to find and buy an ice shaver, so that we could have Hawaiian shaved ice for dessert. (Jim has been wanting one for a year.) Maybe next year we can go back and experience the real thing again. One can only hope!
