You Might Be a Mother . . . .

1. If you have more children furniture/toys in your living room than adult furniture/toys, you might be a mother.

2. If you took a 10 uninterupted minutes shower and feel that you had a relaxing moment, you might be a mother.

3. If you were able to pull your hair up in a ponytail and curl your bangs and feel you've had a "spa day", you might be a mother.

4. If you have no idea what the current events are in the world but can tell you what happened on that day's episode of "Sesame Street", "Zabomafoo, or some other child show, you might be a mother.

5. If you have only one spit up stain on your clothes and consider those your "good" clothes, you might be a mother.

6. If you find yourself saying "yeah" and clapping your hands (like you do to your little one)whenever your husband picks up his clothes or leaves the lid down on the toilet, you might be a mother.

7. If you have changed your child at least four times due to spit ups or blowouts before you have had a chance to get out of your pajamas yourself, you might be a mother.

8. If you have a hard time remembering what it is like to have an adult conversation that lasts longer that five minutes, you might be a mother.

9. If you find yourself praying for a child's naptimes just to be able to clean your house/take a shower/get dressed/etc., you might be a mother.

10. If you find yourself wanting to slap those skinny little girls who complain about their "poochy" tummies or any other non-existent fat issues and you are just hoping that you can continue to use the "I just had a baby" excuse as long as you can, you might be a mother.
