Say it isn't snow?!

Yep, that's right. White flakes began to fall today, which means that winter is now here and I am now going into hermit mode. I really wish I could enjoy the winter more and/or enjoy winter sports, but I don't. I am a summer and fall girl, through and through. I love being outside working on my yard and garden. I also love to go for walks without the slipping and sliding. In the winter none of these are possible, except to snowblow the driveway and sidewalks. My husband even thought he would be funny and tell me I could be the first one to use the snowblower this year. This smart-alec comment definitely got "the look".

In the winter, I wear socks 24/7 and only take them off to shower. I need to stock up on thermal garment bottoms because my legs and feet are constantly cold. I really need to be a "snowbird" or go live in Hawaii year round. Someday . . . . . .
