Then 3 1/2 years ago the Toad Queen met another boy. This boy was different, but she just wasn't sure how. The night before their first date, she gave the boy her "Toad Test" to see what type of "warts" he had. While he did have some, she wanted to wait and see just how many more there were and to see if he would actually turn into a toad.
Well, this boy wooed the Toad Queen in every way possible to just get to be her boyfriend. He sent her 2 dozen roses and she still said no. He sent 1 dozen roses a week later. She still said no. He took to her dinner, took her on trips, made her dinner, bought her several things, and she still said no.
Finally, on the day of giving thanks she said yes and then 2 weeks later she said yes again for a chance at a lifetime with this boy. For you see, the Toad Queen realized that this boy was not a toad, but was an actual prince and would always treat her like a queen.
So three years ago tomorrow, these two were married in a fairytale wedding complete with a beach at sunset, a walk along the ocean, and letting butterflies go with their dreams and prayers on their wings. And they have lived happily ever after!
