March Card

I have to admit that this month's card was a real struggle for me. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but since we are extremely limited to what stores carry crafts/card making supplies, my original idea was not feasible. Plus, I have been running out of time since we are meeting next week and between my husband getting ready for a "regular" test on Tuesday and his PhD entrance exam on Friday, not to mention our anniversary this coming weekend, I knew I needed to get them done this past week! So I admit, I caved and bought the cut out pre-designed card shapes from the Silhouette store and then went from there.

My idea behind is that sometimes when you want to congratulate someone, you send them flowers. However, here is a way to "send flowers" and congratulate them without having to order and pay for actual flowers:

The flower part pulls out of the "pot envelope" and then you can write a message on the white cardstock underneath:
