Tonight I made Apple Bars that I got from Homebased Mom for our neighbor who had a birthday this past weekend. Which if you know anything about Home Based Mom's recipes, so far all that I have tried have been F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. (Thank you, Leigh Anne!)
When I brought one to my husband to try, I get a look and then he ate his. As he came close to the end of it, he said, "They look gross but they taste good." He then explained they looked soggy, but they weren't. (He has a thing about textures.)
My snarky comment back: "Well, be sure to tell the neighbors just that. They look gross, but they taste good."
His reply: "Honey, you don't tell people that. You just tell them they are good." hmmmmmmmmm . . . . .
