I'm Boycotting Lowe's!!!

That's it! I have had it with this store and will not shop there again!

As a warning, do not order anything from them and expect it to be delivered on time and in "new" condition. Every time I have done this it has been a disaster. (Anyone remember the window and sliding glass door debacle?) Their little commercial with the hand over there heart saying that they care is crap!

The most recent debacle . . . . .

Jim and I ordered a freezer. It was a little bigger than we wanted but it was an Energy Star, and had some other features that we really liked. Well, it was supposed to be here today. Long story a little shorter: It's still not here! They lied and told us it was on the truck twice and then "oops" guess it never came to the store. When I went down to the store to talk to a manager, the store manager refused to talk to us and had a department manager talk to us. She offered us a bigger freezer, which we soooooooooo do not need, and it did not have the things we wanted. She then told us she would give us back the delivery charge and 10% off the freezer we ordered. Big deal! We already got that when we bought it. By this time Jim and I were so angry we walked away to talk about it some more. I told him I wanted my money back and wanted to go elsewhere, as far as I was concerned I was done with Lowe's. He said he wanted to just get the freezer we ordered because he didn't want to shop anymore. We went back to talk to the department manager and the store manager was there. He saw us and ran away immediately. I finally just threw up my hands and left because I had already missed 2 hours of work. He got them to take a whole $100 off the cost of our freezer and we hope it comes in by next Tuesday. (Can you tell who our kids would go to if they wanted something? IF we have kids.) In the meantime, I have food waiting to go into a freezer that's not here and now have to find a place for. Jim missed work. I missed work and all we got back was a lousy $100 and hope that a freezer comes in by next Tuesday?! What a rip!

I think headquarters needs to hear this story.
