A Woman's Job to Worry Is Never Done
So my husband decided to see if he could give me a heart attack yesterday. As he was driving home, he noticed a helicopter flying very low that he thought was going to hit the power lines right next to him. He then slowed down due to that and traffic and was rear ended by another car. Of course, he calls me and tells me he has been in an accident and that the back end of his car is all messed up, but then quickly had to go since the police officer had arrived. I began panicking, since 1. my history of car accidents and injuries is not the best; 2. financially we really need our cars to last at least another year - preferably 2 more. When he finally got home, I looked at the car and the "back end of the car being all messed up" was actually only the bumper that will probably need replaced. The other driver received a ticket and hopefully his insurance will fix the bumper. Whew! As he left for work this morning I gave him my standard caution of "please be careful", but with the added "really this time".
