Tick, Tick, Tick Goes the Clock

Today, I start the 9th month! There were days I wondered if I ever would reach this point, but yet here it is, and 2 1/2 more days I am done with my class!

Am I ready? Ummmmm. . . depends on the day, hour, minute. Is anyone ever really "ready" to help mold a new life and raise them in the world?

I have learned so much through this process about myself, family, others, and pregnancy in general. However, that is a another post for another day. I can say this whole process has definitely changed my view on pregnancy forever, which is not such a bad thing.

The weirdest or funniest part at this point is how calm I am and how "freaked" out my husband is. Up to now, it has been the exact opposite and I was getting so frustrated that he was so calm. LOL Then again, I am done with my graduate class, finishing up my class I am teaching, and have made most of the things I was planning on making. He, on the other hand, is quickly approaching finals and more extra work. Poor guy! I am just so grateful that we have one another to lean on and both have experienced in some way the other's "predicament" in some fashion so that we can support/relate to how each other is feeling.

He also has been getting more and more excited as time passes. (Not that he wasn't already bursting when we first found out we were expecting or anything.) He even printed out the 3-D scan and showed everyone at work "his son" and has it posted on his wall at his office. How cute! Just wait until there are "real" pictures. LOL

So, now the true countdown begins!
