Have you ever looked at your significant other and said, "Duh?!"
I had one of those moments today. My husband had to work today and so consequently he was gone by 5:30 am. I couldn't get back to sleep so I got up, , uncovered the garden and raspberries, took the plants out of the garage and put them out so they could get some sun, went shopping at Home Depot, ShopKo, and Smith's and then came home unloaded everything, mowed, trimmed and watered the front lawn. Then I mowed and began to water the back lawn, replanted zucchinis where the previous plants had died, staked and tied tomato plants, planted a rose bush in front, fertilized all the rose bushes, weeded and deadheaded the front flower bed, bagged all the grass from the lawnmower and rebagged the ones that split open and spilled out their contents, cleaned up the grass that spilled, did 3 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, and started dinner all by 2:00 pm. At this time I got to lie down and talk to him on the phone to which I told him what I had done and then he later stated that I sounded tired and wondered why . .. . . . Ummm, duh! A classic case of not being able to do 2 things at once since he was working on a programming problem at the same time he was talking to me. I just laughed and told him I would talk to him later because I was taking a nap!
