Let Them Eat Cake!

Okay, so I am just plain annoyed with our ward and am really looking forward to the day the ward boundaries change and some of the "clicks" are divided.

Today, Jim and I went to the bishop and told him we had some extra zucchini that we were willing to let others have for free since we had frozen all that we wanted and the plants keep blooming. (I just can't kill a plant just because I'm sick of them producing food. Bad karma!. . I know, dumb.) Since there are so many people who live in apartments and a lot of our ward is on church and government welfare, I thought there may be some people in need and would gladly take them off our hands. (They are over a $1 ea. at the store!) When he announced that a family had some available, and to see him after church for more information, all we heard was laughter. So . . . . guess we won't be so generous with sharing and if a calamity hits they can all "eat cake"!
