A week ago Jim came in from looking at the garden and stated that the jalapenos looked awfully big and maybe we should start picking them. I told him to not worry about it, but I would get to them as soon as I could.
Today I went out to look at the tomatoes and decided to look at the jalapenos as well. They really did look big, so I thought I would take a closer look. Yikes! Those aren't jalapenos, they are green peppers!!! Someone switched the tags on the plants.
This is especially funny since just a couple of weeks ago I told Jim how I wished I had planted bell peppers.
It all works out since I will use both for salsa, and bell peppers are more expensive than jalapenos.
