There are many days when dealing with my students that I want to say, "Am I being punk'd?" and immediately look around for hidden cameras. My most recent moment? A student turns in a 95% plagiarized paper. Not only has she copied this word for word from a published article written by someone else, but had to actually purchase the original article to be able to copy it. Then when she is confronted has the gall to say, "I didn't mean to. I just forgot to put in my citations."
Okay, Ashton, you can come out at anytime.
