Sooooooooo Tempted

Today we went and looked at cars. Not because we needed to or had any intentions to buy, but we know that the time is coming when a purchase will be necessary. (Our cars are currently 10 and 8 years old.) I had to find myself repeatedly saying, "You're not buying a car today." This especially came true when I saw this and actually got to get in it and smell that wonderful new car smell:

I sooooooooooo wanted to drive off the lot right there with it. I even tried to rationalize it in my head. "Well, the payment is less than what we were paying on the credit cards, and we are going to have to get a car anyway, and . . . ., and . . . ., and .. . . . "

But then I remembered the feeling of having that extra little money each month that we get to use at our discression and build up savings with. Plus, until Tre is born who knows what type of medical bills we will incur, what will happen with the child support in the next four months, or even Jim's job when the new contractor is announced in January. Dang responsibilities!

Oh well, to dream is free.
