A Time For Discipline

Now is a time for discipline and organization, when things are getting the craziest.

1. I am starting a new class on Monday and have to develop the syllabus and gradebook this weekend. (Should be interesting since I have never taught this class before.) I tried to create it earlier, but their stupid program wouldn't let me until I actually got the contract which came today. grrrrrrrrr

2. I need to complete the graduate class I am taking in the next two months. (2 papers down, 9 more and 2 big projects to go!)

3. I need to figure out the modifications of the project I am charge of for Super Saturday.

4. I need to stay on top of the Young Women stuff, since I am not getting much cooperation there. (Loooooooooooooooooooong story!)

5. I need to finish organizing and cleaning out the basement. (This in and of itself is a full-time job!)

6. I need to can more salsa and figure out what I am going to do with the left over produce.

7. I need to clean the upstairs. (i.e. dust and vacuum)

8. I need to find the keys to my husband's car that I lost sometimes today and have no idea where they are. I've looked everywhere I can think of. (Dang pregnancy, foggy brain!)

9. I need to keep up on the regular stuff on the house, yard, cooking while I see very little of my husband. (He has been working 60 - 70 hours/week for the last month and will continue to do so until almost the end of October. Oh yeah, and he's going to graduate school.)

10. I have to keep my stress level down and glucose levels under control so that I can try to avoid early delivery, insulin, and all of the other fun stuff I have been warned about.

Can we say . . . OVERWHELMED?! Yet, if you were to see me, you would see a smile on my face. Why? I think the deliriousness of 3-4 hours of sleep at night has taken over or I'd just rather smile then cry. Plus, my husband is stressed enough and doesn't need me adding to it.

Time for me to take a nice, hot bath and start again tomorrow. "The sun will come out tomorrow . . . . . "
